Career History
Dr Beth McDonald graduated with honours from Sydney University in 1988. From 1989 to 1995 she worked at North Shore Veterinary Hospital in Sydney. During that time she completed a Masters in Veterinary Studies through Murdoch University and also gained her Membership in Small Animal Medicine with the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists.

In 1995, she began a residency in veterinary dermatology at the Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. In 1998 she became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology and has since worked as a registered specialist both in NSW and the ACT.

Special Interests
Her special interests include allergic skin diseases and associated secondary infections, parasitic disorders (demodex) and immune mediated disorders.

Dr McDonald consults and lectures at the city campus of Sydney University on Tuesdays. Dr McDonald has a food allergic, atopic Labrador, a couple of gold fish, and two girls who enjoy Nippers, skateboarding and music.

Linda is a specialist Veterinary Dermatologist who works at the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Camden 3 days per week and at the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Sydney one day per week, seeing small, large and exotic animal dermatology referrals.

Career History
Linda worked in small animal practice in Australia and the UK for 14 years before pursuing an interest in dermatology. Linda achieved Membership of Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Feline Medicine in 1997, completed a Dermatology fellowship training program based in Sydney and Melbourne from 1997-2001, and achieved Fellowship of Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Veterinary Dermatology in 2003.

Special Interests
Linda’s special interests include allergies in all species, exotics, and histopathology (reading skin biopsies). Linda has 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 budgies, multiple fish, 2 kids and a husband called Larry and lives on their ½ acre property near Camden
She obtained membership of the Australian College in Feline Medicine in 1997, then undertook an a 4-year alternative residency training program in dermatology based in Sydney & Melbourne, with a number of supervising dermatologists from Brisbane & Melbourne

She successfully completed fellowship examinations in Veterinary Dermatology in 2003, and now consults solely as a dermatologist, seeing small & large animal, and exotic species. She lives at Camden with 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 budgies, guinea pigs, fish, 2 teenage kids and a husband called Larry.

Career History
Tina completed a 3-year dermatology residency program in Feb 2007, supervised by Linda and generously sponsored by the drug company 'Virbac'.

Tina previously worked for 4 years in a small animal private veterinary practice, completed the Post Graduate Distance Education Course in Dermatology in 2003, and achieved membership of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Medicine in 2004.

Tina is currently studying towards Fellowship examinations, required to become a specialist in Veterinary Dermatology. Tina currently consults with Linda at the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Sydney on Mondays and Thursdays and at the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Camden on Wednesdays.

Special Interests
Her main research interest is in equine dermatology.

Tina is the proud mother of a beautiful baby boy. She is also a keen horse owner and rider, and currently has 3 dogs.

Ms Jackie Eisenberg


Career History
Jackie is a qualified veterinary nurse who has worked in general nursing for many years, as a specialist Dermatology nurse for 8 years, and also has studied to attain a Bachelor of Science degree.

Jackie is also an accredited Canine Good Citizen Instructor. She ran the weekend puppy classes for the UVTHS and her own full day care centre for dogs, before taking a “break” to be mum to gorgeous daughters Olivia and Penelope.

Jackie brings a wealth of dermatology knowledge & experience, and expert animal handling skills to the dermatology practice.
