Maps and Local Transport
In your induction pack, there was a Sydney Campus map to help you find your way around. If you lose it, don't worry, they are available at many places within the University, for example the accommodation centre, the student centre, the library. Even the large maps on the street often contain sets of smaller take away versions, though we can't guarantee they won't have been rained on!
If you are on the Camden campus, then there are number of maps available on the University's website here.
There are also a number of other useful maps available on the facilities website, for example, if you need to travel between the Camden and Sydney Campuses, then there are campus location/access maps to help.
There are guide maps showing the locations of the buildings at each campus available here.
A bicycle map is featured online so that if you plan to cycle to University, you can try to find a safe route.
There are also a number of local transport information sheets, accessible from the webpage, which provide details on local STA bus services and some ferry services.
Parking at the University
Parking at the Sydney main campus of the University is limited. It is pretty expensive without a permit, and even with a permit, you are not guaranteed to find a space!
The student services website offers information about parking in and around the University should this be your preferred method of transport.
If you think you might want to apply for a permit to park on campus, then go to the facilities website and make sure you read the terms and conditions before you part with your cash!
Parking is free at Camden and there are floating parking permits available should you need to borrow one to make an occasional visit on the Sydney campus and wish to park there. These will need to be booked so ask at the (+61 2 9351 1665).
