Introduction
The Educational Research and Practice Management group consists of staff teaching the Professional Practice stream of the BVSc degree. Areas of research include work-based learning in Veterinary Science, veterinary practice management and BVSc mentoring programmes.

- Development of undergraduate training programs in communication, life skills and ethical decision making – Carrick Grant project with Murdoch University and University of Queensland
- Incorporation of emotional intelligence models into undergraduate teaching
- Development of mentoring programmes for undergraduate BVSc students
- Examination of industry change and marketing practices in Australian companion animal practice
- Exploration of students’ final-year clinic-based learning experiences and the transition to practice
