Future Students
This program is specifically designed to equip animal health professionals to be influential leaders in a rapidly expanding and increasingly important area of veterinary and animal science. Graduates will have new technical and leadership skills relevant to their current and future employment in the national and international animal health arena. VPHMgt is committed to the continuing professional development of veterinary professionals throughout their career.
The program offers units in epidemiology, food safety, zoonoses, disease control, animal health economics, policy development, leadership, project management and research. It is suited to graduates aiming to service the livestock sector, those already employed in veterinary public health and also individuals seeking a mid-career change.
It is an articulated postgraduate program offering three award courses:
- Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Public Health Management
- Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Public Health Management
- Masters of Veterinary Public Health Management
It is also possible to enrol in individual units of study within the VPHMgt program on a non-award basis. The program is comprised of:
- distance education units delivered online
- short residential intensive units.
