Who will I meet at the Residentials?

As well as getting to know your fellow students, the residential is an opportunity for you to meet staff from the University of Sydney face to face before the online components of the course commence.

Facilitators

Leadership, People and Organisations
The Leadership, People and Organisations (LPO) residential in February is facilitated by Wendy Grusin. Wendy has extensive consulting and management experience and is involved in authorship, design and/or delivery of organisational behaviour programs at the AGSM and a number of other tertiary institutions, such as UNSW and Macquarie University.

Leadership: Managing Change
The Leadership: Managing Change residential is facilitated by Loretta O'Donnell. Loretta is adjunct faculty at the Australian Graduate School of Management in the University of NSW and a director of Research 7 Pty Ltd. As well as teaching and researching in sustainable human capital analysis and systems for managing change, Loretta consults in human capital analysis and change management.

Project Management
The Project Management (PM) residential in July is facilitated by Gary Timm. Gary has extensive experience in infrastructure deployment, office project and methodology implementation, enterprise resource planning and educational program development.

Genetic Evaluation & Breeding Program Design
The Genetic Evaluation & Breeding Program Design residential in September is facilitated by A/Prof Julius van der Werf. Julius has extensive research, teaching and supervision experience in quantitative genetics and animal breeding of various species.

As much as possible we invite other unit of study facilitators to attend and meet you face to face before you start your online learning.

Administration and Student Support Staff

Program Administration
Program Administrators Emmeline Yeo and Jann Merchant will be organising and running the Leadership and Project Management residentials. Emmeline and Jann are responsible for preparation of study materials, catering requirements and other general administration and student support services before, during and after the residentials. Program Management
The Sub-Dean for Postgraduate Coursework, Hannah Forsyth, VPHMgt Program Academic Supervisor, Dr Jenny-Ann Toribio, and ABMgt Program Academic Supervisor, Prof Chris Moran, will be available to speak to you at different times throughout the Leadership and Project Management residentials. The Faculty's Chair of Farm Animal Health and VPHMgt, Prof Richard Whittington, will also be available to speak to students.
