Submitting and Grading of Assignments

Assignments are submitted in the WebCT classroom. Students should attach an assignment cover sheet, available in the WebCT forum, to their assignment before submission.

Students are required to keep a copy of all assignments in case an assignment is misplaced. Students are also encouraged to keep a backup or hard copy of their assignments, in cases of computer failure.

Disclosure of Assessment Results

It is policy that you will receive feedback for each assessment no more than 2 weeks after your assessment was due.

Your final marks for each unit of study will appear on your annual result notice, and are mailed to you at the end of each semester. You are entitled to view information about the assessment procedures used to determine your final results. Marks for minor components of assessment, which make up the final results, can be obtained from your facilitator.

The NSW Freedom of Information Act ensures that you may, upon request, obtain your examination scripts or any other assessment material within a reasonable time after the completion of assessment in each unit of study (in the case of examinations, this is provided that the examination paper was not confidential).

For more information on assessment processes and grades, see the University of Sydney Assessment Process policy.
