The PDF Application Form is not interactive and a smaller file size to download. It can be completed on paper and submitted by fax or mail.

Application Due Dates

Local Students
Applications for admission into a postgraduate coursework program must be submitted by 30th November for the February intake. Late applications may be accepted. Applications for admission in the July intake are due by 20 June.

International Students
International applications for candidature should be submitted to the International Office by 31 October for March semester enrolment or 30 April for July semester enrolment.

Application Checklist

Before you submit your application form, please check that you have attached the following supporting documentation.

Compulsory Documents for All Applicants:

  • Academic Transcripts* (unless University of Sydney graduate)
  • Details of Residency Status/Citizenship
  • CV/Employment Records
  • Information on other Qualifications

Additional Documents required, if applicable:

  • Details of any Change of Name
  • Details of English Proficiency
  • Details of Help required for any Disability-(optional)
  • Details of Record of Exclusion

* What is an Academic Transcript?
This is the detailed record of the units of study you have previously undertaken and their results, from the time you started till the time you completed your degree. When you submit your application, please ensure that your full academic transcript is attached. We are unable to finalise any application without an original or certified copy of your transcript. A copy of your degree qualification(degree certificate) on its own is not sufficient. You may need to request from the university where you completed your undergraduate studies to send a copy to us.

Scholarship Applications

Animal Breeding Management
With the support of Meat & Livestock Australia and Australian Wool Innovation, it is likely that scholarships for 10 local students to cover course fees will be offered in 2009.

Applications for these scholarships must be submitted by 20th January 2009.
