Payment of Fees

Coursework Students

Postgraduate coursework degrees are fee-paying. You may choose to pay your fees up-front or, if you are a student who is an Australian citizen or the holder of a permanent humanitarian visa , you may apply for an interest-free loan through the FEE-HELP. An email will be sent to all new students before enrolment detailing the procedure for payment of fees.

If you are paying your fees up-front, you are required to pay your fees by the due date on the invoice if you pre-enrol. If you enrol in person, you must pay your fees at enrolment. The census dates for paying fees are 31 March for the February semester and 31 August for the July semester.

If you opt to take out a FEE-HELP loan, payment of your fees will be deferred. FEE-HELP debts are transferred to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) for collection through the taxation system as accumulated HECS debts . You must begin repaying your debt when your HECS repayment income reaches the minimum threshold for compulsory repayment, which in the 2006–07 income year was $38,148.

See FEE-HELP for more information.
