Associate Supervisor to postgraduate students (Veterinary Science) studying derangements of Vitamin D metabolism in Animals.
Supervisor of two Masters students studying aspects of ruminant and monogasric animal nutrition.
Supervisor of several undergraduate Honours students (Agricultural Science) studying aspects of calcium homoestasis in the dairy cow, as well as anti nutritive factors in feeds.

Awarded a University of Sydney Vice- Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching 2001. One of three finalists for the AUTC National Teaching Excellence Awards, 2001 and 2003.

Awarded The Australian College of Educaters Excellence in Teaching Award (2003).
